Our
Story
Stone Face Farm is owned and operated by Kathleen and Scott Ogborn, a husband-and-wife team rooted deeply in agriculture and country living.
Scott was born and raised in Franklin, New York, where he grew up working on his family’s small farm. The farm originally raised replacement dairy heifers before transitioning to beef cattle, and Scott learned early what it meant to care for livestock, fix equipment, and steward the land. Farming stayed in his blood, and today he still enjoys the rhythm of haying, keeping the machinery running, and handling the day-to-day work that keeps a farm going.

Kathleen also comes from a long line of farmers. Her father was an old-style, traditional farmer, and she inherited both his grit and love for agriculture. As a teenager, she developed a passion for horses and spent many years riding and working with them. That passion guided her to Cornell University, where she earned both her B.S. and Master’s degrees in Animal Science. Horses continue to be a big part of her life, inspiring her interest in quality mohair tack and craftsmanship.
Together, Kathleen and Scott run their small farm in Delaware County, New York, nestled in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. Their three children are involved in every part of farm life—daily chores, herd health, harvesting hay, and caring for the animals that call Stone Face Farm home.

Stone Face Farm is more than a business; it’s a way of life shaped by hard work, heritage, and a lifelong love of animals. The handcrafted mohair tack produced here reflects that commitment to quality, tradition, and the western lifestyle we cherish.

At Stone Face Farm, our mission is to steward the land, care for our animals, and create products that reflect the heart of rural living. We strive to raise exceptional Nigerian Dwarf Goats and handcraft mohair horse tack that supports the working horse, honors western heritage, and connects our family’s passion for agriculture with the customers we serve.
